Employment Program for Persons with Disabilities

The CNIB in conjunction with the Ministry of Human Resources is offering the Employment Program for Persons with Disabilities. EPPD I designed to assist persons with disabilities improve and maintain their employability and their chances of being meaningfully engaged in employment-related activities to the best that they are able.


The EPPD program measures an individuals success through a continuum of employment and independence. This may be achieved through full-time or part-time employment; or volunteer work. The CNIB is offering this program to assist persons who are blind or visually impaired, where their disability is the primary barrier to obtaining or retaining employment.


The CNIB / EPPD program welcomes referrals from a variety of sources including post-secondary institutions, in an effort to assist students or recent graduates to reach their full potential. For more information on this initiative, please call the CNIB Vancouver office @ 604.431.2121.
